CBMC presents the 54th Annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast featuring special guest, Boris Ordoñez Petroff.
Boris is married to a North American, Karen Kennedy, they have six children, and he lives and works from Cuenca Ecuador. As a visual artist, his career started at the age of 19. In 1983 he did his first exhibit and continues in permanent activity. His last show was in January of 2021. He has exhibited in the US, Europe, and Latin America.
As an entrepreneur, he started several businesses. He is owner/manager of Durapower, EZ-Chem, Cuartex and Petroff Art Gallery.
He is currently the Senior Pastor of “Arco Cristian Church” in Cuenca, Ecuador.
In 1987, he became the Founder of Arco Ministries in Cuenca Ecuador, which today has 11 churches in different cities with 5100 members. Arco Ministries employs over 200 people in their different services.
He is also the Founder, in 1989, of the Home Foundation of Ecuador, a hospital attending around fifty thousand patients per year.
In 1993, he also founded Verbo School (Kindergarten thru 12th grade), at present 385 students attending.
In 2012, he started Cuenca Partners, an organization that fights poverty by creating business thru training, mentoring, access to capital and advocacy. This ministry has extended to Cuba, training Christian leaders to generate income by creating businesses.
In 2016, acting upon an early calling in his life to preach the gospel in the Amazon jungle of Ecuador, he started Extreme Mission. The work focuses on the Shuar people located along the borders of Ecuador and Peru in the Amazon jungle, evangelizing, bringing health services, clean water, and environmental conservation.
Boris is an international facilitator with Haggai International Worldwide Ministry that focuses on ending gospel poverty.
