Award-winning environmental journalist and filmmaker Ben Raines has created a new documentary titled The Carnivorous Kingdom, which explores one of the most diverse places on Earth: pitcher plant bogs. Filmed with ultra close macro videography, The Carnivorous Kingdom explores a kill-or-be-killed jungle where the plants are the lions, and everything else is on the menu. Alabama Coastal Foundation has partnered with Poarch Band of Creek Indians and Sierra Club South Alabama to hold a premiere of The Carnivorous Kingdom at the Saenger Theatre on Monday, August 22, 2022.
